10 Weeks

This week has been a little better with the nausea. It's not completely gone and it's still a little unpredictable, but I am still finding that the more often I eat, the less nauseous I feel. Two more weeks until my second trimester...Woo-hoo!!!! That is something that I am REALLY looking forward to!:)

Travis and I went to Buy Buy Baby this weekend to buy a gift for Angie's shower and while we were there we picked out the furniture and glider we want for the baby. I should have took my camera, but I will see if I can find it on their website to post. We also picked out a stroller, car seat, pack n' play, highchair etc. that we like.

I think we will officially start our registry after our appointment on May 16th, but the things that we picked out this weekend will work whether we have a boy or a girl. It was just nice to get a head start on picking out everything!;)

I am looking forward to this week and I am praying I have less nausea and more energy. I have a REALLY busy week of work with Dad's Night Monday and Tuesday and a field trip to the Health Exploration Station Wednesday and Thursday....so my little baby...mommy could really use a break this week!;)

How far along? 10 weeks.
Total weight gain: 2 lbs and a definite bump.
Symptoms: STILL tired and STILL nauseous.
Maternity clothes? Pants yes, shirts no.
Sleep: Still sleeping like a champ!:)
Best moment of this week: Picking out things for the baby at Buy Buy Baby!:)
Food cravings: Pumpkin Seeds.
What I miss:  STILL Egg Rolls.
What I am looking forward to: Only having two more weeks until the start of my second trimester!:)

your baby's the size of a prune!
Now, she's about 1.2 inches long and weighs about .14 ounces. Her body length will almost double in the next three weeks.
your baby at 10 weeks
  • Baby has working arm joints, and her cartilage and bones are forming.
  • Her vital organs are fully developed and they're starting to function.
  • Her fingernails and hair are starting to appear, too.
  • Plus, she's swallowing and kicking in there. (Can you believe it?!)
