This week has been good so far. I am feeling good, I am hoping that I keep feeling well and not nauseous. But, I don't know, I heard 6 or 7 weeks is when it begins. I am getting so excited to see the baby next week...I seriously CANNOT wait!!!! We decided we are going to tell everyone who doesn't know after our doctor's appointment.
How far along? 5 weeks.Total weight gain: Nothing yet....but still bloated...ugh.
Symptoms: Still TIRED, Still HUNGRY and I am peeing 47 times a day which is super fun.
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but all of my jeans seem to be getting tighter at the top and the front.
Sleep: I am sleeping much better and averaging about 12 hours a night...no joke...it's pathetic.
Best moment of this week: Buying some Halloween costumes on clearance for the baby at Parisian. I found an adorable kitty costume if its a girl and a monkey costume if its a boy.
Food cravings: Shamrock shakes...yum...yum...yum...
What I miss: Coke
What I am looking forward to: Our first doctor's appointment next Wednesday!:)
your baby's the size of an appleseed!
Your embryo is now measurable -- though at week five, it's a wee .13 inches -- and she's gearing up for much more growth. In fact, in the next week, she'll almost double in size. Grow baby grow!
your baby at 5 weeks
- The embryo doesn't look like much more than a tadpole right now, but at five weeks, she's already starting to form major organs (heart, stomach, liver, kidney) and systems (digestive, circulatory, nervous).
